Would-be beta testers do not have to worry about loosing any existing functionality since WinEdt 10 will continue to run exactly as before after installing the new version. Registered users of WinEdt 10 can use the same registration data for WinEdt 11 and both programs can run simultaneously. Depending on feedback the official release is planned for later this year.
The beta version of WinEdt 11 will be made available to interested users upon request (sometime in March 2022).

Of course, you can still use alternative PDF viewers (just like before) but having its own viewer gives WinEdt the expected TeX2PDF functionality out of the box without any user intervention. It comes bundled with its own PDF Viewer that supports SyncTeX (Forward and Inverse Search) and is designed to work with pdf documents compiled by TeX. It has plenty of new features, numerous fixes and improvements (too many to list here). WinEdt 11 is almost ready for public release.
